The Anatomy of a Professional Consultation
No two people or properties are alike and each consultation requires unique treatment. Prior to the consultation, I will need the following information to personalize your Feng Shui Experience:
-Birth Date
-Birth Time
-Birth Place
-Gender
-Date that the property was built (Flying Stars Consults only)
This information will be helpful in producing personalized charts so that we can determine the needs of the residents and how to support them. I will analyze these charts prior to coming out to the property. It also gives us an energetic blueprint of the home so that we can make the necessary adjustments to ensure that any negative energy is dispelled and supporting energy enhanced. Upon arriving at the property, I will look at the shape of the lot, house and what is surrounding you in the neighborhood. I will also take compass readings (Flying Stars Consults only)
that provide valuable clues as to the energy of the home.
At the start of the session, we will asses what you want to change or attract into your personal or professional life. Next, we will review the basics of Feng Shui so that you have a basis understanding of the concepts and why I am recommending certain changes. I will explain the theories to you in plain language so that you will be able to comprehend these new ideas. Next, I will go through the space, room by room and make suggestions for changing the placement of furniture, objects, artwork and dealing with color.
Some clients take notes or tape the conversation. For 30 days after the consultation, you may ask any questions you have that I can answer by phone or e-mail at no additional charge. At the end of a month, an assessment is made of the need for additional on-site assistance. Each client's home is different and each client needs different amounts of follow-up.
A consultation for a typical home takes 2-3 hours with an apartment or condo taking less time than a single family home. Please make every effort to limit interruptions as this is a sacred time for you to obtain important information that could change the course of your life. If the home is owned by a couple, it is recommended that the spouse be present but this is not an absolute requirement. Recommended changes should be made within two to four weeks of your Feng Shui consultation. Often, small changes in placement, color, shape, or texture of objects could bring dramatic results.
