In January of this year, I did a class on Celebrating the Chinese New Year and published the Predictions for 2007. The Energy for 2007 was the year of the Fire Boar and the predictions were:
"The I-Ching symbol indicates fire on top of earth. The world may have to suffer from many wild fires, arguments, battles and wars. Controversies would not be restricted to international affairs, but also internal affairs. Many countries had to go through huge revelations which in turn lead to political changes. Also, foundation becomes very shaky. Hence there would be a lot of accidents involving height, such as outer space adventures, satellites malfunctioning, bridges collapsing, high-rises becoming unstable and airplane problems. Volcanoes and earthquakes would join in the rack."
At the class in January, I included a burning bowl ceremony to release the old energy and to usher in the new energy of the Year of the Fire Boar. Each participant wrote their desires to release and attract on a sheet of joss paper. I had a metal container and a candle to burn the paper. Each person in turn released their unwanted energy and attracted the new energy by setting fire to the paper using the candle and letting it burn inside the metal container. As each student proceeded throught the ceremony the flames got higher and higher and the candle began to melt. I was a little concerned and moved the container outside so that the smoke would not set off the fire alarm. Because the wax was fully melted, the flames were high and I now became concerned that the metal container would melt from the heat. In my infinite wisdom, I got some WATER and threw it on the container. What happened after that blew my mind! I watched an explosive combustion and then the flames shot up in the air 20 feet high. I could not believe my eyes. I was stunned along with the other students who stood around and watched in utter amazement. I was told by one of the students not to put the water on the fire but I panicked. Thank God that everyone was safe and unharmed. What a great lesson learned. Pay attention to the energy of the year and NEVER EVER put water on a grease (candle wax) fire!
In April a bridge collapsed in California after a tanker crashed and burst into flames. In August there was a hot air balloon fire in and another bridge collasped in Minnesota. Closer to home... in September a SUV crashed through my neighbors concrete wall and did a nose dive into the pool. The driver was killed but the passenger survived to tell the story. Also, there was a army helicopter crash in Alabama. In October were the raging San Diego, California wildfires. My daughter decided to cook some fish and left the kitchen for a few minutes only return to a full blown fire on the stove. In November a hot air balloon crashed in Canada and a plane crashed in Brazil. Also, the air force grounds F15's after a plane breaks up. In late November, more wild fires in Malibu California. In December there was a deadly chemical fire in Jacksonville Florida.
A little closer to home... I noticed that one of the ceilings in the bedroom on the second floor started cracking earlier in the year. I had the ceiling fixed once before and didn't understand why it was cracking again. Upon closer observation, there were three places that had hairline cracks. I advised my contractor that I already had the ceiling fixed once before and wanted a permanent solution. After evaluating the situation, he advised me that it didn't make any sense to try to screw it back up there because the nails would go through the drywall before it would hold the weight. I asked him if he could just take down the drywall and replace it. He was very cautious but proceeded to remove the drywall from the ceiling. I had to go to the store to pick up contractor bags to dispose of the drywall. On my way home, I received a very disturbing phone call that the entire ceiling had caved in on top of the contractor. Luckily he was not hurt!
September 2007 - October 2007
My new tenant was so excited about her new space. She moved into the "Red" room in the second floor apartment and was loving life. Within a couple of weeks of being here she fell and broke her foot. That was unusual but she walked around in a cast for months because it took a long time to heal. An efficiency apartment opened up across the hall and she asked if she could have it. When the new tenant moved in, he loved the "Red" room as well but within a few weeks, he broke his foot. What the *&%$ is going with my Feng Shui on I asked myself? After doing a little research, I realized that this was a Fire Boar year so anything related to fire was more prone to have problems. I remembered that the room was painted entirely red before and the prior tenant came down with a rare heart disease (also realated to fire). I repainted one wall to tone it down a bit and I guess that it is a good thing because then the other two inhabitants only had broken foot! Needless to say, after checking the Flyer Stars, I found that the safest color to paint the room was an earth tone.
July 2007 - August 2007
All of the apartments are rented and I have all of the income that I need to manage my affairs. My man is very supportive of me in everything that I do. I have wonderful friends and a wonderful spiritual life. My life is fulfilling. My job is the best I have ever had. I am learning so much about life and Feng Shui. My wealth Feng Shui is in full effect! I received an unexpected check and used it to renovate the efficiency apartment. I also received another large unexpected check from an old debt and I was able to make a necessary repair. I also recieved a large refund check from my insurance company. The energy in my bedroom is "Literary Achievements. Is it any wonder that I have started writing a book?
January 2007 - June 2007
I had a small step ladder in the Career area and moved it. Now my career is taking off, I love my job and have all the flexibility that I need to be happy. Not to mention that I got a significant raise and I received an unexpected check from an old MCI account that was part of a settlement. I am helping hundreds of people and I am content. My relationship luck is working out well. I met a wonderful man who is exactly what I need. I have taken some excellent spritual classes that are helping me to get more grounded and centered. Life is Gooooood! I love doing consults and giving classes to help people see how the energy is impacting them.

My career luck is working very well. Found a property management job that sounds like I will love managing community associations. I will learn alot and help lots of people.

My wealth luck is good. Since all of the apartments are rented, I can take it easy for a few months. I also received unexpected checks from family members. Thanks LaRetta and LaVerne! I also got a part-time consulting gig to help make ends meet. I really want to spend time studying Feng Shui and practicing full time. I performed serval consultations up till now and want to perfect my trade. There are so many people who don't know about Feng Shui. I want to help as many people as I can through classes and consults. I've been teaching classes and doing consults across the country. I am learning so much myself and meeting many new wonderful people.

I'm having significant trouble in my romantic relationships and serious problems on my job. I better take a look at my bedroom. Oh boy, I didn't know that all this red would impact me in this way. Not to mention that it's one of the worst energy rooms in the house. I moved across the hall to improve my luck. No more fresh flowers in the bedroom either as it has caused me problems with misunderstandings. Then at work I have all of these "poison arrows" stabbing me in the back all day, no wonder I'm having trouble at work. I couldn't take it anymore so I resigned and went to Barbados to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.

That was a very rewarding seven months and I have made all the adjustments that I learned along he way. Now I can officially hang out my shingle and help others.

I have seen so many positive changes in my life. I want to learn more and share this ancient art others. I am in an exciting relationship and I finally have renters in the building. The seven month apprentiship class covered so much information. Chi, Baquas, Five Elements, Yin & Yang, Cardinal Rules, Four Pillars Astrology, 8 Palaces, Mountain Star, Water Star, Flying Stars, Remedies, Lo Pan, Lo Shu, Best Directions, Annual Afflictions, Sacred Space, Transcedental Cures, etc. I now had better understanding of how everything works at a high level but the learning has just begun.

Looking through the paper... I noticed a class on Feng Shui. Wow, that would be a good place to start to get my questions answered but it doesn't start for months. I need help now. I called the practioner and as it turns out, her vacation was rescheduled and she came over right away to do a consult for me. It was an awesome experience and I learned so much about myself and the energy in my building. First a Four Pillars Astrology chart revealed that I was in a good period for wealth. I learned about my "best directions" and how the energy is aligned in my home. We walked through every part of the home and I learned about the negative areas and how to remedy them. I also received many tips on how to activate the good areas. Thanks Hope!!! I had a lot of work to do but I got most of it done in 45 days. The energy is flowing soooooo much better now...Selah.

Boy this sounds exactly like what I need! I'm learning so many new things? This Feng Shui is some powerful stuff. I need to start by placing my bed in my "best direction"... but the closet is in the way. Well, I put the closet in and I can take it out. I removed the closet in a day and repaired the wall. I began to question myself on the direction. I didn't have a compass and never used one but thought that I could use the sunrise as a gauge. I began to question myself. Is this really the Southeast? Oh boy, I need help.

I moved to the second floor of my apartment building and it needed some major work. I had already renovated the first level while living through it and it was a living hell. It was time for some peace and harmony in my life. I consider myself to be a metaphysician and I wanted to make changes that would have a positive impact on my life. I recieved an oversized book for Christmas call Feng Shui. What in the world? It wasn't until I began to read the book, that I realized that my prayers were answered. Finally, a way to take a deeper look at how the energy in my space is impacting me. I now was able to take control of my environment instead of my environment having control over me.
